The Shredquarters launches NEW boutique franchise in partnership with Physical

At Physical, we’re hugely proud to announce our partnership with The Shredquarters, and to unveil a new boutique fitness franchise, FUSE.

FUSE has been brought to life in partnership with functional training franchise The Shredquarters – a long-time customer of Physical. At the heart of FUSE is a focus on workout variety for optimal wellbeing – both physical and mental.

“Being fit and well isn’t just about burning calories. Nor is it about doing one type of workout over and over again. It’s about complementary workouts that bring balance and variety, challenge and recovery,” explains FUSE CEO Adam Waters.

“That’s why every FUSE club will have separate mind-body and HIIT studios, offering strength and conditioning, reformer and mat pilates, yoga and barre as well as high-octane cardio classes.

“We’ve fused all of this under one roof and within one supportive community. It’s a rounded approach to boutique training that’s designed to help people live better for longer.”

The launch of the franchise comes concurrently with the launch of the inaugural site in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, with a second location set to open in London’s Richmond in early 2025. Further properties are currently being sought to meet the expected demand from franchisees.

John Halls, FUSE chairman and managing director of Physical adds: “Together with our partner The Shredquarters, we’ve created best-in-class programming – six mind-body programmes and four HIIT – that’s delivered in an engaging space, using cherry-picked equipment and led by top instructors.

“Reinforcing this, we’ve created three streams of CIMSPA-accredited pilates reformer training for our instructors in collaboration with Gill Drummond at EMD.

“And all of this is delivered to the consumer at an affordable price, marking a strong USP in the boutique segment.”

Pay-per-class is available, all the way through to an unlimited package which at Beaconsfield costs just £40 a week. This allows members to do as many classes as they wish across both studios, including unlimited reformer pilates.

Also included in the unlimited package is the FUSE Wellness Journey, which starts with a seca TRU body composition assessment. This forms the basis of personalised goal-setting, bespoke class recommendations and tailored nutrition plans for each member, with monthly progress checks to track results.

“We’ve drawn on our combined 50+ years in the business to create something really special that meets consumer needs and exceeds their expectations.” says Halls.
