Project scope
Physical Company worked closely with Fusion Lifestyle to shape and introduce its innovative INTENCITY product and help bring this bespoke fitness class to life at its London Southgate Leisure Centre. This case study looks at the how the collaboration successfully resulted in increased member engagement and aided the programme concepts.
Mission
Fusion Lifestyle wanted to capture the essence of HIIT group training, but keep it affordable and therefore accessible to their community. Using functional movements, and heart rate training, the mission was to create a new offering and transformative space, in-line with the boutique studio competitors in London.
Strategy
This project was delivered with close collaboration. Physical Company were able to work alongside Darren Anderson in development of the INTENCITY programme, by loaning various functional equipment as the team experimented and developed what was to be the final product. INTENCITY was to comprise of five programmes; MAX, CYCLE, BOXFIT, STRENGTH AND CARDIO & ABS, all of which required careful product consideration and critical flexibility of space to ensure all programmes could be delivered successfully.
The results
The result launched a brand new product to the Fusion Lifestyle community. A motivational, atmospheric, small group training option, but that came free within the cost of membership. There are currently 58 classes a week running at Southgate and reportedly, feedback has been exceptional and a large number of members have already achieved significant results.
““Physical Company has extensive experience in creating gym floors, small group sessions and a wide range of functional kit, making it the perfect partner for us. Gone are the days of clever kit gathering dust, as both trainers and members now appreciate the scope of work that can be done with quality functional kit.”
