With an ever expanding range of functional fitness equipment and the launch of the Physical EX:CEL online training platform, the training provision arm of the business is growing, prompting Wilkie’s addition to the team.
The Education Coordinator role covers the marketing and administration of the live and online education, as well as ensuring all courses meet the Skills Active training provider requirements and managing the training team.
“Physical Company offers fantastic education and support for its equipment customers so I’m very proud to join the team,” says Wilkie. “The EX:CEL platform is a really exciting innovation and I’d encourage anyone looking to invest in new kit to check out the education support we offer, whether you need training dates for whole gym teams or an online course for a single PT. Physical Company has all the education you’ll need to get the most out of your equipment.”
Wilkie has over 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry, originally coming from an international sports background. She now trains national tennis and badminton champions for international duty, and runs her own PT business. She is also a UK Master Trainer for BOSU, Trigger Point, freeFORM and Lebert Training Systems, and is part of the Physical Company UK demo, Training & Presenting Team.
“Sue is one of the best trainers in the industry so we’re excited to have her on board,” says John Halls, Sales and Marketing Director at Physical Company. “As we grow the live training dates each quarter and add the new EX:CEL platform for online education, this appointment will help keep the standard of training provision at the high level our customers have come to expect from us.”
